Chicken lollipos in Tomato Salsa and Melted Cheese
- 1/2 kls Chicken pops
- 250 gms flour
- Parmesan Cheese (Optional: Quickmelt cheese)
- 1/2 cup Pineapple juice/natural lemon extract 4 pcs.
- 80 gms melted butter
- Pepper
- Salt
- Garlic Powder
- Olive oil
- 1 can Crushed tomato
- Minced Garlic
- Minced Onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried Basil
- Wash chicken pops thoroughly.
- In a bowl, mix the all the marinating ingredients into the chicken pops and place it in the refrigerator for at least 20 mins.
- Prepare the tomato salsa.
- Sweat minced onion and garlic, add canned tomato and simmer for 5 mins.
- Sprinkle out a tablespoon of dried basil and add salt and peppers to taste. Set Aside.
- Start breading the chicken with flour and deep fry until golden brown.
- Top the salsa into the chicken pos and sprinkle the grated cheese.
- Put into the oven for 5 mins. enough to melt the cheese.
- Serve.
